PLAYER CHECK-IN: Thursday, July 2nd – Embassy Suites Hotel, 6 to 9pm est. or
players can check in ½ hr. in advance of their 1st round play at their site on July 3rd.
TOURNAMENT PLAY STARTS: Friday, July 3rd – 8am est.

Player’s credit cards will not get charged until they are moved into their appropriate draw(s). Also be aware that any “declined payments” at that time will cause a delay of your entry into the draw(s). Players cannot change a registration once submitted, but will be able to withdraw from the tournament prior to it being published. Make sure to confirm that your partner is also properly identified (see note below). No refunds will be administered once players are pulled into their respective draws.
NOTE: Players must have their doubles partner’s USTA ID# to pair with for a doubles event. During the registration process, you have the opportunity to invite another player to be your doubles partner or set yourself as looking for a partner. After you have registered you can also invite a doubles partner via the USTA Schedule Tab from your USTA Player Profile. If you’re invited as a partner, you will need to accept it from the email link to create the pairing. All doubles players must be registered prior to the entry deadline to create a pairing/team. Those looking for a partner will be able to use the “find a partner” option within the USTA/Serve Tennis platform to select a partner from others looking to play your event. The MIDTAC tournament staff will not be responsible for identifying and pairing doubles teams.

“In lieu of hotel tournament check-in on 7/2/26, players can check-in 1/2 hour prior to their first scheduled match time at their playing site. All players are responsible for knowing their match times and playing sites by checking the Serve Tennis website. 15 min. default rule will be applied.

NOTE: MID-TAC will pay one-half ($3.00) of the one-time Serve Tennis $6.00 “Head Fee” that is automatically charged per entry by Central Indiana Tennis Association (CITA).

NOTE #1 – MAIN DRAW: Consolation Draws will be “First Match Consolation.”
NOTE #2 – FOR NOVICE DIVISION: Amateur players with two or less years playing experience and no prior tournament experience. Must be able to serve and keep score. All matches will be 8 game Pro Sets.
*SPECIAL NOTE* – “2026 OUTSTANDING JUNIORS” – See the list under the “Junior Section” on this website of the 10 Outstanding Juniors who were recommended by their Home Club and qualified and to receive a MID-TAC $300.00 Junior Tennis Player Scholarship. The Scholarship will help cover one night stay at the host hotel, assist with travel expenses and cover entry into the single and double divisions. Congratulations to the Juniors and their Home Club!

2026 TOURNAMENT EVENTS
- THURSDAY at HOST HOTEL: Player Check-in at Embassy Suites – 6pm – 9pm est. View Tournament Draws, receive commemorative item, enjoy light refreshments, raffles, purchase tournament t-shirts and socializing. [OPTIONAL: In lieu of hotel tournament check-in, players can check-in 1/2 hour prior to their first scheduled match time at their playing site. - FRIDAY play begins at BOTH sites at 8:00am est.
- FRIDAY EVENING – Free “Junior Party” at Host Hotel, 7pm to 10pm est., with light refreshments, free raffle, new fun games with prizes and Recognition of 10 “Outstanding Junior Tennis Players” hosted by Junior Development Committee.
- FRIDAY EVENING – Free “ADULT PARTY” at Host Hotel, 7pm to 11pm est., with light refreshments, raffles, dj for dancing and fun activities hosted by Social Committee. Adult Hospitality Suite will also be available for socializing from 7pm to 11pm est.

- SATURDAY EVENING – 4th of July! Eat on your own then join us at 7pm: “Junior and Adult Hotel Hangout” in Garden Area with light refreshments. Adult Hospitality Suite will also be available for socializing, hosted by Social Committee.

MID-TAC is the Preferred Tournament for Adults and Premier Tournament for Juniors!
