Joseph (Joe) White Jr. passed away peacefully at the Brickyard Health Facility in Merrillville, Indiana on Thursday January 18, 2024. He was born to the late Joseph and Geneva White in Washington D.C. on October 20, 1934. He is preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. Joseph is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dora Hubbard-White, 4 children Pete (Cynthia) White, John (Darlean) White, Rosalyn Spruill and Mike White; 3 stepchildren Diana (Hilery) Brown, Debra Hubbard-Smith, Mark (Diane) Hubbard, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 special granddaughter Sarah White and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, January 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. All services at Christ Baptist Church 4700 East 7th Avenue Gary, Indiana. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.
