5:00 pm to 7:00 pm – (Part C1) On-court Social Play (1/2 hour rotations)

GENERAL MEETING
For Member Clubs & Supporters. The Executive Board and Committee Chairpersons will present detailed Reports on MID-TAC business.
FORMAT FOR COACHES CONNECTION TRAINING:
What is UTR? UTR is a global tennis system intended to produce an objective, consistent, and accurate index of players’ skill in the game of tennis. UTR rates all players on a single 16-point scale, without regard to age, gender, nationality, or locale of a given match. Learn how it works and how to apply and introduce it to your Club and players. MID-TAC is also inviting existing Junior Tennis Program organizers to get involved with the “Midwest Junior Tennis Development Opportunity”. The Opportunity is being offered via Bob Davis, President of Bollettieri Tennis & Learning. Brainstorming will take place on how to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Coaches will then be invited to participate in the 3-hour on-court Junior Tennis Workshop being conducted in collaboration with MID-TAC Coaches Connection and coaches from Bollettieri Tennis & Learning. FORMAT FOR MID-TAC 6th JUNIOR TENNIS WORKSHOP:
Member Clubs and other interested individuals may register their juniors for the 3-hour on-court sessions of skills instruction, drills, competition and games. Juniors will be grouped in appropriate age/playing levels. MID-TAC Member Club coaches and invited instructors from the Coaches Training will conduct all sessions, along with Bollettieri Director of Coaching, Ken Merritt.
