Motor City Tennis Club conducted summer tennis programs in several deserving communities under the Greater Detroit Tennis Alliance. They administered tennis programs with 4 partners in metropolitan Detroit:
1. University of Detroit Mercy (UDM)
2. Tabernacle Baptist Church
3. Tindal Recreation Center
4. Ford/UAW
President, Burrell Shields helped to write the $25,000.00 Grant that was awarded to Greater Detroit Tennis Alliance. Below are pictures of participants and coaches. According to President Shields ” We found the next Frances Tiafoe in Alex from the Tindal program”. This is how giving back to our community can open up opportunity and dreams for children who otherwise would never receive it. Congrats to the Greater Detroit Tennis Alliance.
